Gold Projects

IMRG is gradually expanding its footprint in the gold sector through a series of strategic initiatives.

Gold Tailings Processing

IMRG is currently processing 280 tonnes of gold tailings, yielding modest amounts of gold. We have been presented with ongoing opportunities through small-scale mining permits in the region, which offer further potential for growth. Our long-term strategy is to steadily develop this small-scale gold business in collaboration with our trusted local partner in the Philippines. However, this process requires delicate handling as it involves close cooperation with remote indigenous communities, ensuring that their rights and interests are respected throughout the venture.

Butuan River Gold Project

In addition, IMRG has signed a Heads of Agreement (HoA) with a permit holder who possesses mining rights along the Butuan River. The sand within this river system is primarily composed of magnetite black sand but also contains high concentrations of gold, averaging between 2 to 5 grams per tonne. We are currently pursuing dredging permits to align with the mining rights already granted. The project aims to dredge 50,000 tonnes of sand per month, with the plan to market the extracted magnetite sand and gold together as a single product, maximizing the value of both resources.

These projects represent IMRG’s commitment to sustainably growing its gold mining operations while working closely with local partners and communities to ensure long-term success.
